Thesi course focuses on factors related to the initiation and development of new business ventures, in contrast to the management of large,ongoing enterprises. Topics covered include personal entrepreneurial potential, career considerations, sart-up planning, sources of ventureideas, entry wedaes, acquisition strategies, managing for survival. Primary emphasis is on the process of starting a new venture. Entrepreneurs will meet with the class to discuss their own experiences.
