The students master the use and definitions of legal terms. In practical classes they define and analyze terminology, present the ability to work with different types of legal documents, magazines, newspapers and books, using analytical skills and lexical knowledge in order to translate texts in Law from English into Latvian/Russian and vice versa. Students are taught to apply different sources and reference materials as well as dictionaries and glossaries. Students individually should create a glossary of legal terminology.
