The internship is a part of a bachelor program; its main goal is for students to strengthen theoretical concepts gained in the course of learning in a real entrepreneurial setting. The study course is designed in a way, so it helps students use their theoretical knowledge in the respective places of internship, prepare internship report, and successfully defend it.
During the study course student will meet with internship coordinator for seminars on which they discuss course of internship, share their insights, learn about internship report guidelines and prepare for defense. Seminar format is chosen to emphasize gain from sharing students experience.
Internship is divided int two parts – 16 KP in 3rd year spring semester and 10KP in 4th year spring semester.
In a 3rd year internship students analyse organization providing internship and look for improvements. Main goal is to spot an opportunity for improvement and provide compelling arguments to prove it. In a internship report student describe the organization providing internship and conduct a field research to prove one existing problem.
4th year internship main goal is to gather needed information for a bachelor thesis, hence internship report not only describes the organization providing internship but also discusses possible ways how to improve certain processes. Students must develop one solution for improvement and provide economical proof of its possibility.
