The study course covers the following topics: ship's main engines and auxiliary machinery; construction of diesel engines; operation of diesel engines; construction, theory and operation of the main and auxiliary mechanisms of ships; ship steam turbines and gas turbines, construction, operation basics. The study course is made according to the requirements of STCW Convention A-II/1 standard, IMO model course 7.03. and to the requirements of STCW convention A-II/2 standard, IMO model course 7.01.
Part-time extramural studies are organized according to an individually developed study plan.
