The study course provides basic knowledge about ship's visual communications and ship's radio communications, which are necessary for further studies in the study course "Communication organization and GMDSS", as well as basic knowledge regarding radionavigation technical means. The study course was created in accordance with the requirements of STCW Convention standard A-II/1 and A-II/2, taking into account the recommendations of IMO model courses 7.01, 7.03 and 1.39. Must have attended at least 80% of lectures.
Part-time extramural studies are organized according to an individually developed study plan.
