This study course is implemented by the University of Latvia, study course developer is Jānis Cīmurs.
At the end of this study course the student will be able to explain some biological processes involving physical phenomena (eg entropy, free energy, etc.), and the student will be able to apply several physical methods (eg spectral analysis, electrophoresis, etc.) to perform measurements in biotechnology. The presentation of the topics will be supplemented by demonstrations.
