The study course will cover different classes of materials, from more traditional ones, including metal and wood, to new and innovative ones, including nanomaterials, biomaterials, and intelligent materials. Emphasis will be placed on the characterization of material properties and the study and analysis of processes in materials with the aim of understanding the connection of material properties with their potential application in various engineering solutions.
