The course begins with a discussion of basic concepts: financial statements and financial ration, time value of maney, valuation of stocks and bonds. Portfolio risk and return and capital asset pricing model are also introduced. Later in the course students learn about types of securities and the cost of capital. Capital budgeting, leasing analysisand working capital management are introduced, too.
