The study course creates an understanding of the specifics of the structure of composite materials, production and processing peculiarities, as well as operational properties depending on the type of matrix material, as well as the chemical and physical nature, shape and orientation of the reinforcing component in the matrix. The study course provides an opportunity to develop competence in the choice of materials and technologies for the intended use in the development of composite materials, as well as to develop skills in obtaining and characterizing individual composite materials.
