During the study course, thermodynamic cycles and processes and the mechanisms of heat propagation are examined. When viewing a variety of thermodynamic cycles and processes, students learn the foundations of each process, as well as gain knowledge about how this process can be used in a variety of applications.
While examining the mechanisms of heat propagation, the students learn about heat conduction, convection, radiation and transition as well as acquire practical knowledge about how to reduce heat losses, thus enhancing the energy efficiency of buildings, heating networks, and other structures, equipment and processes.
