The internship is an important part of the master's study programme, the aim of which is to improve the student's professional skills and abilities, practical competencies, as well as to strengthen and supplement academic knowledge, which promotes the master's thesis development process. During the internship, the student gains professional experience in the development of new material design, development and design of material production technological processes, material testing and quality assurance, material certification. During the internship, the student gains insight into technical documentation, production, product/service development processes, and equipment. Recommended practice places: testing laboratories, companies in the production and research of various materials, chemistry, pharmaceutical production, and similar industries, as well as in RTU Institute of General Chemical Engineering. The internship ends with the public defence of the internship report.
