The study course deals with the implementation of wireless communication systems using software-defined radio (SDR) approach. The study course examines the classification and application of SDR platforms. Students get acquainted with the software implementation of one analogue and digital communication systems and their counterparts using such software tools as MATLAB, Simulink, and GNU Radio. Special attention is paid to the implementation of frequency synchronization algorithms.
