The study course creates in-depth knowledge of food safety requirements and chemical hazards that can adversely affect human health; in-depth understanding of the importance of instrumental methods and their practical application in the detection of specific chemical contaminants or toxins in food; as well as skills in assessing potential risks.
The student acquires knowledge about emerging food contaminants and related risks, development trends of analytical methods in food testing, and application of appropriate instrumental analytical methods for food control. Acquisition of the content of the study course takes place in the close context of theory and practice, along with theoretical knowledge, practical skills are acquired.
