Amerikas Savienoto Valstu vēsture(English)(1),22/23-P
The study course introduces students to US history and the diversity issues in America. Students learn fundamental values of American democracy and examine them in historical events and contemporary realities. Instead of taking a strictly chronological approach, the study course takes a thematic approach by paying particular attention to such issues as race, gender, sexuality and class, to illustrate the fundamentally diverse nature of American society. The study course shows the progress that America has made in the course of history and the challenges it faces today.
This is one of the University of Buffalo's study courses on diversity in the United States and is implemented in partnership with the Riga Business School and the University of Buffalo.
