The student acquires in-depth knowledge of polymer synthesis methods, their characteristics. The study course creates an in-depth understanding of polymerization and polycondensation processes, reaction kinetics, used initiators, catalysts and synthesis technological solutions and industrial production. In the study course the student also learns to understand the elasticities between the synthesis of different polymers, macromolecular structure, polymer properties, and recycling aspects of the following polymer materials: thermoplastics, reactoplastics, elastomers, composites, mixtures, etc. polyolefins, chlorine-containing, fluorine-containing, silicon-containing, phenol-aldehyde, amine-aldehyde, epoxide and cellulose polymers, as well as polystyrene, polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinylacetate, polyformaldehyde, polyformaldehyde, polyvinyl , polyester polymers.
