The study course provides competence on the drug manufacturing processes; the equipment used; relevant legislative issues; quality requirements; economic considerations; main principles of organization of the manufacturing process; optimization of synthetic steps, development of large-scale synthesis methods. In addition, provided is an analysis of technologically problematic processes. The students will learn the modelling of manufacturing equipment, work environment, and safety aspects.
