Master's thesis is a scientific, independent investigation with novelty elements, which includes both theoretical research (introduction, literature review on a given topic) and experimental work (discussion of results, experimental part, conclusions), performed to solve a particular scientific problem in the field of chemistry, chemical technology or materials science of organic compounds in order to prepare and present research results for publication in a scientific journal.
The synthetic work envisages the development of methods for synthesis and analysis of complicated organic compounds, the application, as well as elaboration of methods for purification and analysis of substances, the application of modern analytical methods for establishing of chemical structure, coherence of structure-activity and structure-properties relationships, elaboration of synthesis technology of compounds, scaling of synthetic methods for industrial needs.
