Within the study course, a student acquires in-depth knowledge of material identification, analysis and testing, as well as of experimental data processing and evaluation. The student learns to choose the right analysis methods for polymer materials, composites, metals, inorganic materials and nanomaterials. By analysing and testing the material in various deformation states, physical states and also in a wide temperature range, the student learns to critically evaluate the obtained experimental information, analyse the experimental data and make assumptions about the structure of the material. The student learns about the advantages and disadvantages of research methods, calibration of equipment, preparation of samples for research, interpretation of analysis results.
