Elektronisko vadības sistēmu projektēšana(English)(1),22/23-R

Students are familiarized with digital electronic control system design principles. Material acquisition is based on theory provided during lectures as well as practical implementations of different control systems in the laboratory during practice, using popular Arduino modules with corresponding shields, additional modules and simple breadboard circuits build up by students. During the study course, students become acquainted with basic Arduino programming principles (data types, C language features, available libraries), different control problem solutions and corresponding algorithms, most popular digital and analogue interfaces. Students will be able to develop practical electronic circuits and control different types of analogy and digital devices, ensuring data acquisition from corresponding sensors (temperature, light intensity, infrared, sound, gyroscope, accelerometers, etc.), data processing and providing the corresponding system request (LCD, LED, DC and servo motors control; data transmission using wireless interfaces). Students will demonstrate the obtained theoretical knowledge and design skills by developing individual course paper.
