The study course provides a comprehensive understanding of chromatography, different chromatography techniques, including gas chromatography and liquid chromatography. Additionally, the study course provides information about the principles of mass spectrometry, commonly used ion sources, mass analysers, detectors, and interpretation of mass spectra. Students gain knowledge about the commonly used chromatography and mass spectrometry methods. Both theoretical and practical learning approaches are used, besides theoretical knowledge, practical and hands-on skills are acquired.
