The concept of scientific research work and its basic stage are defined in the study course. Textile and clothing research techniques and methods are discussed. The process of experiment planning is described. The rules of regression analysis are considered, as well as the test of the significance of the regression coefficients, the test of the homogeneity of variances and the test of the adequacy of the regression equation.
