Basics of Anthropology for Clothing Studies(English)(1),22/23-R

The study course is designed to consider human evolution and adaptation to the environment, total morphological characteristics, constitution, somatotypes and posture. In the study course borders students will be familiarized with the basics of anthropometrics, projective representation of the individual and that of the standard figure. Students will construct a model of standard figure, define the size of clothes using size designations by ISO TC 133 and CEN pictograms. The students will evaluate the satisfaction of final consumers with static and dynamic fit. The study course gives knowledge about culture, society, individual personalities in clothing studies context.
