In the study course the professional terminology, normative-technical documentation of clothing production used in the industry is viewed, the basic types of assembling and processing of sewn products introduced, the basic stitches, seams of joining parts will be mastered - lockstitch and chainstitch and their seams will be discovered. Clothing design methods will be introduced, taking into account body dimensions and overlays, resulting in base pattern. When creating model constructions, modifications of seams will be analysed.
