The study course is designed to help students acquire knowledge of modern investment theory while developing the skills to design and implement an investment strategy. The study course focuses on the secondary market, securities and derivatives, portfolio management, securities analysis and valuation. The study course examines financial markets, mainly stock markets, from the point of view of investment decisions. The study course develops a set of conceptual frameworks and analytical tools and then applies them to specific investments and investment strategies selected from a wide range of corporate, securities and institutional contexts. The focus is on creating added value across a range of decisions, from positioning in individual securities to portfolio risk management and the delegation and supervision of professional investment managers in a variety of economic environments. In the study course, the dynamics of competition between investment organizations, products and markets are studied. The study course provides a comprehensive introduction to the financial services industry, with a particular focus on investing globally.
