Theory of Systems and Processes(English)(1),22/23-R
Within systems and process theory there have been developed general methods for describing system structure and functioning, which are based on systems thinking and allow including all relevant factors that affect the functioning of a system. In the study course, students get acquainted with the philosophical foundations of systems theory, as well as with the general and specific systems theories. They learn about system classification, system laws, rules and principles, as well as the basic concepts of systems thinking. They learn the basics of structural modelling and multilevel flow modelling, and gain skills to create and analyse mathematical models of complex system structure. They also get acquainted with the general characteristics of complex system functioning and the basics of process theory.
