Basics of Russian(English)(1),22/23-R

Students read and listen texts and dialogues, search for and interpret necessary information. Texts are seen as speech patterns, they are further used while completing tasks. Task types: insert a missing word, use a word in the correct form, change the structure of a sentence. Tasks aim at developing competence in conscious usage of vocabulary and grammatical constructions, as well as automatic usage of clichés to fulfil communicative aims: address a partner, to inquire, to point out, to express satisfaction/ dissatisfaction/consent etc., to persuade, motivate etc. Students take part in dialogues, simulating different situations.
