The study course introduces students to the basic stages of integrated circuit design: theoretically - during lectures, practically - during laboratory work. The lectures cover basic electronics and simple circuit design, layer designs, parasitic effects. During the laboratory work, a prototype integrated circuit is designed and tested using CADENCE software: from the transistors inside the chip to the outputs outside the chip. CADENCE is the professional tool for automating and testing the complete development of integrated circuits (chips) at different levels.
