An integrated research related course for doctoral students. The main teaching strategy is promotion of spoken and written interaction in pseudo-professional and professional situations. The main tasks in developing communication skills are as follows: 1) taking part in a scientific conference; 2) discussions on professional and scientific themes; 3) writing reports and scientific articles in English. Themes are connected with professional and scientific major: topicality of the dissertation, structure of the dissertation, discussion of the list of references and literature; contacts with scientists, other countries; conferences; referencing scientific articles. The classes are conducted in the form of lectures, seminars, role plays, workshops and practical classes.
