The study course outlines fundamentals of labour protection legislation of the Republic of Latvia as well as occupational safety standard system. The course considers the influence of harmful and hazardous factors on a human body; it also explains their measuring and rating methods and principles. During lectures and practical classes human security measures, occupational safety organization and control are viewed in detail.
