The aim of the course is to help students become more effective and confident writers. The course is based on a combination of lectures, class discussions, exercises, as well as in-class writing tasks and individual writing assignments. The students are required to come to class prepared to participate in the class discussions and activities, i.e. the assigned reading and exercises done, the assigned writing assignments completed.
