Valuation is discussed as a central theme in this course. This includes such issues as how to value a shareholder’s wealth, a company that is not publicly traded, how to value an investment project. There will examined the use of debt in a firm’s financial structure and ask if that has an impact on the value of the firm. Students will get experience in valuating companies, making investment and financing decisions, financial modeling and practical financial risk management techniques.
