The study course is devoted to control units for pulse-mode power converters. There are two groups of topics. The first group includes topics that deals with the topics of general and analogue electronics: electronic elements of control systems, generators of saw-tooth and pulse signals, phase-shifted signals and phase-shift control, control of frequency in generators of analogue signal. The second one focuses on the topics of digital control units: achieving of the time delay in digital control systems, pulse width modulators, synchronization with network, microprocessor based control systems for frequency converters.
