Review of grammar basics, development and expansion of the existing knowledge base and the set of relevant skills. Vocabulary and speaking skills development addressing the issues related to Latvian history, economy, politics and culture. Special attention is paid to the development of spelling skills to avert appearance of foreign language-specific mistakes in writing and speech.
