Interdisciplinary Semiotics(English)(1),18/19-P

The course is aimed at post-graduate students who will conduct research in some aspect of semiotics. Currently, semiotics is one of the most rapidly developing branches, which creates a scientific approach to the study of language incorporating the study of sign processes and meaningful communication, computer science and engineering.
The course in interdisciplinary semiotics explores the study of signs and symbols as a significant part of communications. Along with an introduction to the kinds of methodologies available to modern semiotic science, the course also includes a survey of major theories about human cognition and communication.
