Topics covered by the course include: the basic numerical methods in electromagnetics; advanced software in electromagnetic simulations for the design, analysis and optimization of devices operating in static, low-frequency and dynamic fields; fast and accurate 3D analysis of high- frequency (HF) devices such as antennas, filters, planar and multi-layer structures, nonhomogeneous waveguides; the use of electromagnetic simulations for practical problems of engineering.
