During the course students acquire knowledge of the essence of the financial market and its components. Special attention is paid to the Latvian financial market, as well as the activities of Latvian and foreign financial institutions and their impact on the financial relations of Latvia with the external financial market. The course provides knowledge on the valuation of companies' financial performance, including the evaluation and management of real and financial investment projects that affect the value of the company.
During the study process students are introduced to the laws and regulations governing financial relations.
