Elektroenerģijas elektronisko pārveidotāju teorija(English)(1),21/22-R

The study course covers: general theory of energy conversion, rectifiers and line-frequqncy controlled inverters, autonomous inverters, current-source, voltage-source and resonance mode inverters, modulation methods, BUCK and BOOST converters, frequency converters with high-frequency links, matrix type converters, cycloconverters.
The study course theoretically defines the main relationships between the input-output parameters of power electronic converters, moreover, depending on the principles of development and operation of individual stages of these converters. The main focus is on the application of parameter systems used in practice. All theoretical calculations in the study course should be checked in computer models, assessing their compliance. In the study course, it is necessary to perform expanded calculations and computer modeling of practically all the most widely used types of converter types and relationships, which are designed as laboratory works. All students' work is evaluated and affects the final assessment of the study course.
