The study course provides an insight into the issues of the basic principles of quality, quality management and quality system. Students acquire knowledge and understanding about quality, quality levels, process approach, conformity assessment, standards, quality systems and models. The study course also covers topics about quality management methods and their application. The study course promotes the development of critical thinking and reasoning skills, ability to work in groups and individually, to analyse product and service quality characteristics and processes.
