The study course covers the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical actions of quality management principles. The study course provides insight into the development of the concept and principles of quality. Students acquire knowledge about quality levels and their assessment, the ability to identify quality characteristics and calculate quality costs. The study course includes topics on the choice and use of quality improvement methods and tools in different situations. Students gain competence to analyse quality characteristics, processes, acquire understanding of quality management standards. The study course promotes the development of critical thinking and argumentation skills, the ability to use professional terminology, to work in groups and individually.
