The course "Biotechonomy" discusses usage of local bio-resources and creation of high value added products, applied technologies and examples. Biotechonomy approach is significant not only for national, regional and local sustainable development but also for every citizen. The course considers technologies for extraction, preparation, treatment and processing of local resources - bio-resources that are present in every step of the everyday life. The course includes assesment of climate, environmental, economic, socio-economic and legal aspects of biotechonomy.
