Adaptīvās sistēmas bioloģijā(English)(1),20/21-R

In nature adaptive mechanisms can be found at various organisation levels. They support the survival of an individual, certain species or the whole population. Knowledge about biological mechanisms will allow to identify the most effective signal conduction and transformation types, which can be further applied into artificial systems. The course is based on analysis of various samples of adaptive mechanisms; nevertheless it will also provide basic knowledge.
