The English language course is based on acquisition of general and technical terminology in the particular field. The students are provided with opportunity to use the foreign language within the framework of the chosen scientific and professional field. All the texts, materials and speaking topics are selected according to the study program taking into account the average level of language skills. The selected lexical and syntactic constructions typical of the scientific language and LSP are taught independently on the study program. The program was developed in conformity with the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and IELTS Academic, which is suitable for entry to study at undergraduate or postgraduate levels, and also for professional registration purposes. It assesses whether you are ready to begin studying or training in an environment where English language is widely used, and reflects some of the features of language used in academic study.
