The subject deals with the classification of railway track machines and characteristics of railway track machines, as a unit of a rolling stock: crew, brakes, resistance movements, the motion stability curves. In the framework of the subject various types of track machines, the operating principles of ground structures such as repairs, ballasting track, ballast water treatment, railway grid, inserting, replacing switches, rails and sleepers grid assembly and dismantling, prism ballast compaction, finishing machines, as well as specialized rolling stock and mechanized tools are described.
