The future of modern building industry is closely related with the wide use of BIM or Building Information Modelling concept. The main topic of the course is linked with the intial building design stage and covers Computer Aided Design (CAD) metods and tools for 3D geometric model production. In order to ensure a successful achievement of learning outcomes in parallel with theoretical knowledge provided will be practical skills training with most popular BIM concept supporting software to obtain: (1) digital building models; (2) drawings and other project documentation; (3) rendered images; (4) animation and customer controled interactive 3D scenes; (5) simple scripts in CAD environment.
